OCAT^® Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training Course (Pepper Spray) 
A California Security Guard can only carry OC Pepper Spray on duty after completing an approved training course. Our OCAT^® Training Course exceeds the Bureau of Security's Chemical Agents training requirements. This is an interactive training course which includes lecture and scenarios that involve using INERT TRAINING SPRAY. This course is open to the public and does not require students to be sprayed to be certified. A Guard Card is not needed to attend this course. After completing the course, students will receive a Training Completion Certificate.

Our trainers are certified and authorized by Personal Protection Consultants, Inc. to provide training in the OCAT^® course. 

PATH^® Practical & Tactical Handcuffing Training Course        
This certification course is the most complete and innovative handcuffing course in the country. The techniques presented are practical and effective. Topics to be covered include the safest approach and positioning for handcuffing, handcuffing resistive subjects, removing handcuffs, and the use of various types of handcuffs, among others. This is an active course. Part of the training includes the use of Handcuffs in scenario situations.

This course is open to all security and loss prevention professionals. You do not need a Guard Card to attend this course. Upon successful completion of the testing criteria, students will be certified in the proper applcation of handcuffs and will receive a Training Completion Certificate documenting their certification.

Proper Training in the Use of Handcuffs is Vital to Officers!

Handcuffs are among the most often used tool by security and law enforcement, yet training is severely lacking. Studies show that over 67% of resistance by subjects occurs after the first handcuff has been applied. All too often the result is injury and/or death to either the officer or subject.

This course also has been used extensively by the “Loss Prevention” Industry by officers who, in the course and scope of their employment, are confronted by the need to be properly trained in handcuffing procedures. For liability reasons, an officer who is trained in proper handcuffing techniques always looks better before the court than an officer who has affected an arrest and was never properly trained to apply the handcuffs.
